The first Airbus A319 for US low-cost carrier Independence Air has emerged from the Airbus Deutschland final assembly line at Finkenwerder in Hamburg. The airline is due to introduce the 132-seat aircraft into service from its Washington Dulles hub in November, and will receive a total of four A319s this year, 18 next year and six in 2006.
