India downs Atlantic
An Indian air force MikoyanMiG-21 shot down a Pakistan navy-operated Dassault Atlantic 1 on 10 August using a Vympel R-60/AA-8 Aphid infrared-guided missile. All 16 on board were killed. Both countries claim the wreckage lies on their territory.
