Indian Airlines has taken delivery of its first two Airbus A319s under a lease deal with CIT for five of the type, and used the occasion to introduce a new livery.
The airline says the livery is considered more modern than its previous decades-old pattern. The aircraft also have only the name “Indian” painted on them. The livery adds the colour blue to the carrier’s traditional orange corporate colours, and will be progressively applied to all its aircraft.
