India's domestic airlines carried 3.7 million passengers in October.
Jet Airways and its subsidiary Jet Lite led the market with 1.1 million passengers in October for a market share of 27.7%, according Indian Government statistics. Kingfisher was second with 823,000 passengers and a market share of 20.7%.
Air India carried 740,000 passengers (18.6%), SpiceJet 491,000 (12.4%), IndiGo 540,000 (13.6%), Go Air 215,000 (5.4%), and Paramount 61,000 (1.5%).
As for passenger load factors for domestic carriers, Air India had 72.8%, Jet Airways 75.7%, JetLite 77.9%, Kingfisher 73.5%, Paramount 86.2%, Go Air 79.9%, and IndiGo 76.6%.
