India's Hindustan Aeronautics, Tata Exports and Air India have all submitted bids in response to a McDonnell Douglas (MDC) requirement to outsource production of radomes for its MD-11, MD-90 and MD-95 airliners. MDC also hopes to source production of the MD-95's empennage in India.
