The first of 75 Indian air force pilots to begin training on BAE Systems' Hawk advanced jet trainer will start their instruction at RAF Valley in the UK on 5 July. India's last students will complete their training in the UK in late 2007, when the Indian air force will receive its first of 66 Hawk 132Ytrainers. Hindustan Aeronautics will manufacture 42 of the aircraft in India.
