India's Jet Airways plans to launch a daily direct service on the Mumbai-Dhaka route.
It will begin the new service on 15 September using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, says Jet Airways.
This will be Jet Airway's third daily service to Dhaka, adding to its Delhi-Dhaka and Kolkata-Dhaka routes.
"With the launch of our Mumbai-Dhaka service, passengers from Bangladesh may connect on to Jet Airways' services to North America, Europe and the Gulf, as well as other ASEAN destinations, via our hubs in Mumbai and Delhi," says Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO of Jet Airways.
