There's going to be a real boom in industry, the economy and of course, aviation in Southeast Asia. The upbeat prediction was made by Thomas Hirschmann, chairman and chief executive officer of Jet Aviation, a company that provides complete maintenance services and avionics support to business aircraft.
Jet Aviation has received the go-ahead to change the name of its operation in Singapore to Jet Aviation (Asia Pacific).
Hirschmann says: "We are in Singapore for the long haul. Just because the business has grown quiet for a period does not give us the reason to leave.
"We expect to be perfectly positioned to ride the wave of new growth and take a leading role in corporate aviation in Asia, as we are throughout the world."
