Northrop Grumman has won a $30,000 contract to study information warfare recovery techniques for the US Air Force's Rome Laboratory, N.Y.
Information warfare is the offensive and defensive use of information to exploit, corrupt or destroy an adversary's systems.
The objective of the 13-month study is to develop innovative methods of recovering critical real-time data within an air defence system following an information warfare attack.
