In a joint project, DRS Technologies and Nytech have launched a new infra-red imager designed as part of an initiative to pursue cost-effective night target systems for the infantry, while providing exceptional image quality.
The low-power system uses just eight AA batteries, which produce less than two watts, but will run the unit for eight hours.
DRS (Hall 3, Stand B2) has also launched two new workstations. The Rugged Laptop Computer and Rugged Portable Workstation are both developments of original models.
