From 20 November, Denmark's Maersk Air is expanding its scheduled network beyond Europe for the first time with the start-up of routes linking Copenhagen with Istanbul and Cairo. It will launch four weekly flights to Cairo, and three weekly services to Istanbul with Boeing 737-500s. These new routes add to services between Billund and Dublin, and between Copenhagen and Lisbon, also introduced this year.
