Continued growth of business aviation as well as commercial aviation has led to the launch of a new show actively supported by Dubai’s royal family. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum lends his patronage to the Aircraft Interiors Middle East exhibition (AIME), which will be held at Dubai Airport Expo on 16-17 June next year.
“The Middle East is forecast to see the region’s business aviation fleet double to 600 aircraft over the next five years, regional demand for innovative interiors, including state-of-the-art entertainment systems, will rise to unprecedented levels,” says Sheikh Ahmed.
“A dedicated B2B forum for this important sector is a natural progression of the region’s expanding commercial and business aviation landscape,” says Sheikh Ahmed.
AIME is being organised by Fairs & Exhibitions and will focus on aircraft and VIP interiors – ranging from design to biometrics.
“The response was fantastic,” said Alison Weller, director aerospace, F&E, “within just a week of launch we are seeing immediate expressions of interest and are processing firm bookings.”
