Amsterdam-based Vitalit Laboratories was on hand at WTCE to bring a touch of healthy living to attendees.

It has developed a range of nutritious and additive-free drinks and snacks sold under the Fly Fit brand that are already proving popular with airlines and passengers alike, says the company's Eric Veeneman.

It counts Tui Group and Virgin Atlantic among its customers, he says, and is in discussions with Dutch flag carrier KLM over a possible deal.

A key part of its success has been consideration for the demands of cabin crew, says Veeneman, and as such it has designed its products to minimise any additional work.

"The best thing is that we are able to provide both passengers and crew with a healthy alternative for the same or even less money," adds Veeneman.
