The Philippines' second national carrier Cebu Pacific has launched its first international services connecting its Manila base with Hong Kong. The five- year old domestic carrier launched twice-daily services on the route on 22 November. It is initially operating to Hong Kong with McDonnell Douglas DC-9s but will upgrade to Boeing 757-200s this month. Two 757s have been leased from Pegasus Aviation.
