Interstate Electronics is showcasing its range of global positioning systems this week, targeting potential customers in both the military and civil fields (Hall A/1221).

The California-based company, which specialises in digital signal processing, is at Asian Aerospace for the second time and is looking to strengthen its presence in the region.

Advanced technology capable of guiding long-distance airborne missiles to within two metres of their target is just one of the applications on display, together with information on satellite navigation systems and the company's 9002 Flight Management System.

Interstate is also developing a GPS receiver and translator for the US Air Force which it says could be applied equally well to the other armed forces.
