Embraer has delivered its 1,000th EMB-201/202 Ipanema crop-dusting aircraft, manufactured by its Neiva subsidiary at Botucatu, São Paulo. The aircraft, an ethanol-fueled Ipanema, was handed over to Sorriso-based Agrifor Agricultural Aviation and is one of 70 Ipanemas scheduled for delivery this year. Embraer has over 100 upgrade orders for the ethanol-fuelled, 300hp (225kW) Textron Lycoming IO-540-K1J5D-powered aircraft.
