Israel's new Lockheed Martin F-16I Sufa (‘Storm' in Hebrew) incorporates a high proportion of indigenous avionics systems, like the IDF/AF's earlier F-16A Netz (‘Hawk'), F-16C Barak (‘Lightning') and F-16D Brakeet (‘Thunderbolt').

The aircraft uses an Elbit Mission Computer and a Dash IV Helmet Mounted Display system, and has an El-Op Head Up Display. The aircraft also features a new display processor, and, for the first time on an F-16, a digital map display.

Elbit Systems subsidiary Cyclone Aviation Products manufactures composite horizontal tailplanes, rudders, ventral fins and access doors for the F-16I.
