Panasonic Avionics has reached an agreement with Israir Airlines to provide in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems on three of the Israeli carrier's Airbus A320 aircraft.
One aircraft is already equipped with Panasonic's overhead digital multiplexed passenger entertainment system (DMPES).
While Israir waits for DMPES installation to be completed on the rest of its A320s, the system has already been installed on a total of roughly 200 aircraft worldwide.
Panasonic has now concluded more than 20 DMPES deals to date.
