The Indian Space Research Organisation has proposed the 90kg (200lb) TWSAT microsatellite for remote-sensing applications. The satellite will have a three-band CCD camera with single optics and beam splitter. Up to 50 user terminals will be installed in Indian universities and developing nations to receive data.
