If you need an IT solution, then pop down to Hall 1/B1 where you will find IT Village.

The stand, organised by Aerotech Marketing, brings together ten firms which sell IT to the defence industry to exhibit for the first time. Large companies such as Hewlett Packard and Interleaf along with smaller firms such as Workplace Systems and Cincom are all represented.

John Wheeler, director of Aerotech Marketing, says: "I tried to pull together firms that would compliment each other. These are best-of-breed technology firms that combined create a virtual IT enterprise on the stand. It achieves a number of objectives including helping smaller firms bear the huge cost by sharing the costs and facilities as well as bringing more IT companies to Farnborough - an aim of the SBAC."

Eurotech provides not only the chance to exhibit on the stand but also to host guests in a chalet themed as a Colonial Club.

In true 1920s style, the IT firms along with others, have created a relaxing and comfortable environment with music and artefacts from the era.
