Alitalia has bought a 55 per cent stake in Avianova from Cofiri for L19.7 billion ($12.1 million), giving it 100 per cent of the domestic carrier. At the same time Alitalia completed the sale of its 56.2 per cent stake in Aeroporti di Roma to Cofiri at a price between L390-L455 billion. Alitalia denies there was any link between the two deals.
