Fairchild Dornier has selected Italian interiors specialist AvioInteriors as a seat _supplier for its new 728JET in a deal valued at around $18.5 million.
AvioInteriors will provide its Shuttle 398 economy seat _for Fairchild's 70-seat regional jet.
The aircraft is now due to enter into service in the second quarter of 2003.The move marks the Italian company's first seating contract covering one of the latest generation of regional jets.
