The Italian and Russian Governments have signed a co-operation agreement involving space exploration and the development of space activities for civilian and scientific roles.
The framework agreement is designed to pave the way for specific partnerships between Italian and Russian companies. The first of these agreements will see Alenia Spazio providing advanced technology antennas for Russian communication satellites, including the second generation Gazprom communication satellites, JAMAL 200.
