Italy to test data downlink system on Sky Arrow

The Italian National Research Council's Biometeorology Institute and aerospace firm Iniziative Industriali Italiane (III) are set to test a real-time data downlinkconnection to fixed or mobile ground stations for environmental monitoring later this year on a III Sky Arrow 650 two-seat ultralight pusher prop. We incorrectly reported in our 30 March-5 April issue that the Sky Arrow 650environmental research aircraft would be unmanned.
