I was selected by a Swiss company for a position. However, my selection was not approved by the Swiss civil aviation authority. No details were given and I can only assume that my passport was at fault.
What is the point of the all-encompassing Joint Aviation Authorities, when the JAR-OPS and JAR-145 are not specific in their requirements for post holders? Do the authorities use whatever specifications their political situation demands?
