Hughes Aircraft International Airspace Management Systems has successfully completed factory and site-acceptance testing of the FAT 50 Jakarta automated air-traffic-control (ATC) system now being installed at Sokarno-Hatta International Airport. Successful integration and testing of the US contractors Guardian flight and radar-data processing system and advanced colour controller workstations leaves only the operational- readiness demonstration to be completed before the entire system is declared ready for use by the Indonesians.
