Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) both plan to launch daily direct service from Tokyo-Haneda to Beijing on 25 October.

JAL says that it will operate Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the route. ANA, however, says that it will operate a Boeing 767-300ER.

Since Haneda will officially open for international flights only from October 2010, these flights will initially be classified as charters.
