Japan Airlines has contracted UK spares part specialist AJ Walter Aviation to provide AOG component support across its Boeing fleet.
The airline signed a general terms agreement that covers both its mainline fleet and aircraft operated by subsidiary carriers, says AJ Walter, which will supply the equipment from its Singapore warehouse.
AJ Walter adds that it is "working closely" with the carrier's engineering department to accommodate Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau regulations in its operations.
