Boeing has teamed with BAE Systems to bid for the US Air Force’s B-52 Stand-Off Jammer (SOJ) programme, with Northrop Grumman also competing. A pre-system development and demonstration contract is due to be awarded in the fourth quarter, with the SOJ programme seeking to add receivers, jamming pods and mission management software to the B-52H.
