Japanese low cost carrier Skynet Asia Airways has extended a component servicing agreement for its Boeing 737-400 aircraft with maintenance firm SR Technics.

The five-year agreement is effective from August 2009 and covers component exchange, maintenance, repair, and associated logistics, says SR Technics. A similar agreement has been in place for the last seven years.

Under the deal, SR Technics "undertakes to provide all the components that the Skynet fleet may require" from its main store in London-Heathrow and from a consignment stock in Tokyo.

Skynet Asia operates eight Boeing 737-400 aircraft, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.
