Serbian flag carrier JAT Airways is to establish a new regional airline next year which will operate five ATR 72s under the Inter Air Link brand. The new company will be ready to launch services in time for the 2004 summer timetable at the end of March, says JAT Airways general manager Predrag Vujovic. The airline will be ready for full privatisation in two years. JAT Airways has three ATRs in service and is to receive a fourth this month, with a fifth arriving in May. In January, it is taking two more Boeing 737-400s, which will replace its two remaining Boeing 727-200Advs.
