India’s Jet Airways has entered into a pilot training centre services contract with CAE that will see its training centre move from Mumbai to Bengaluru.
Under the agreement, CAE has relocated Jet’s Boeing 737 and 777 full-flight simulators to its integrated training centre at Bengaluru International airport. Both simulators are level-D certified by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
“It is our priority to train our pilots to the highest level of safety, and we are proud to have CAE as our training partner of choice,” says Jet’s chief executive designate Cramer Ball. “We have purchased all our simulators from CAE in the past and we are delighted to expand our relationship to now include training centre operations services.”
