Jet Aviation has signed an agreement with an unnamed customer from the Middle East for the VIP completion of a Boeing Business Jet 3 (BBJ3). Work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter at the company's facility in Basle, Switzerland.
The cabin is designed by Studio E/motions and features a living area, a conference/dining room and a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The General Dynamics subsidiary recently delivered two newly completed Airbus 340s - an A340-600 and an A340-300 - to undisclosed customers. Both aircraft feature highly customised VVIP interiors, "breaking new boundaries when it comes to cabin detailing and complexity", says Jet Aviation. A 319CJ has also been completed at the Basle facility this year.
