Jet Aviation is planning in the second quarter of 2010 to open a line maintenance operation at its facility in Sorocaba, Brazil to serve Gulfstream operators. The General Dynamics-owned company says it hopes to expand the offering at later date to include other aircraft models and capabilities including heavy maintenance and inspection. Jet Aviation a already provides aircraft charter and management service from this facility, 130km (70nm) east of São Paulo.

Meanwhile, the Zurich, Switzerland-headquartered company has expanded its line maintenance offering at its Dubai base to include the Gulfstream G350/G450, Embraer 135/145, Hawker 750, 800 series and 900XP business jets.
