General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has revealed plans to fly a new jet-powered unmanned air vehicle for the first time later this year. The company says the long-endurance platform will have applications for combat and homeland security missions, but declines to provide further details. “It is being built on our own initiative and we are already looking for a customer,” says international business development manager Stephen May, who adds: “It won’t be a Predator C.”
