Luxembourg-based fractional ownership provider JetFly has joined forces with luxury travel provider Avolus to develop its fractional operation within the UK.

JetFly operates 12 EADS Socata TBM 850 and Pilatus PC-12 single-engined turboprops and already has five UK customers.

Alexis Grabar, Avolus managing director, says the programme "will provide an entry-level product into business aviation. We hope to have 20 customers by the end of the year." He adds that JetFly plans to add two new aircraft this year and aims to have a fleet of 25 aircraft by the end of 2008. "We are looking at adding Piaggio P180 Avanti twin turboprops at a later date," Grabar says.

The deal is also expected to boost JetFly's customer base from 65 to 100 in Europe by early next year.
