Low-cost carrier Jetstar Asia will be launching a non-stop service between Singapore and Ningbo in mainland China from 9 September.
The carrier said that it will initially operate thrice-weekly flights on the route and will increase this to four times a week from 31 October.
It will operate Airbus A320 aircraft on the Singapore-Ningbo service, which is subject to regulatory approval, added Jetstar Asia.
This will be the airline's fifth scheduled service to mainland China from Singapore after Hangzhou, Guilin, Shantou, and Haikou.
Currently, no other carrier operates a non-stop service on the Singapore-Ningbo route, schedules in Innovata show.
