The marketing of the Erieye Airborne Early Warning and Control System AEW&C is to be jointly handled by Ericsson and Embraer.
The announcement, made at Paris, is intended to ensure the high performance system will be available on a jet platform at a lower acquisition and operating cost than its competitors. Ericsson/Embraer say they are particularly interested in targeting countries in Latin America, Europe and the Far East.
