Lockheed Martin has received an $87 million contract to upgrade 17 F-16A/Bs being transferred to the Jordanian air force. Modifications, to be performed between mid-2006 and mid-2009 by Turkish Aerospace Industries, include Falcon Up and Falcon Star structural upgrades and theF-16A/B Mid-Life Update. The fighters are joining 16F-16A/Bs delivered in 1997-8.
