The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is starting to take shape at Lockheed Martin's Fort Worth factory in Texas, after last week's delivery of the aircraft's Northrop Grumman-built fuselage midsection. The assembly will be mated with the F-35's Lockheed-built forward fuselage and wing, with the aircraft's aft fuselage due to arrive from BAE Systems' Salmesbury plant this month.
