Evans & Sutherland has won a competition to supply image generators for Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) synthetic training devices, said industry sources at last week’s ITEC exhibition in London. E&S officials have refused to confirm whether the company will provide the first batch of equipment to support the JSF’s production and sustainment phase, but confirm: “A selection has been made.”
