Kaman Aerospace has delivered a K-MAX external lift helicopter to Bozeman, Montana-based Central Copters for use in logging operations in Montana and Idaho. The single-seat, single-turbine intermeshing-rotor helicopter can lift a maximum load of 2,700kg.

The US government has blacklisted more private companies over alleged connections to the training of Chinese military aviators, including two firms operated by former test pilots in the UK Royal Air Force and South African Air Force.
