Kamov has unveiled outline technical proposals for the creation of a new 24-seat civilian helicopter, which will be designated the Ka-32-10. Kamov general designer Sergey Mikheev revealed the programme during a meeting of Russian oil industry workers in the run-up to the airshow. Mikheev says the machine might be developed, certificated and in production at the Kumertau plant within three years.

The Ka-32-10 will be a radically modified Ka-32, which is designed around the baseline Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter.
