Air Kazakhstan has introduced its first Western widebody, a 14-year old Airbus A310-300, recently delivered on lease. The Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4-powered ex-Swissair aircraft is operated from Almaty to European destinations. The airline operates over 50 aircraft including Ilyushin Il-86s, Tupolev Tu-134s, Tu-154s and two Boeing 737-200s.
