The state aircraft production factory of Kharkov, Ukraine, has confirmed that Iran has placed an order for 12 Antonov An-74 transports. At least two have been delivered. Although the factory will not confirm how many will be delivered as the military version, it is known that the first two were painted in Iranian air force colours. The order is for a mix of An-74T-100 all-cargo aircraft and An-74TK-100 passenger/cargo convertible versions.
