Bell Helicopter Textron has received a $15.7 million US Army contract to retrofit the first 28 of 339 OH-58DKiowaWarriors - under the System/Safety Enhancement Programme - with digitally controlled Allison 250-C30R/3 engines, energy attenuating seats and avionics upgrades.
