Netherlands carrier KLM has this month implemented a new codeshare with Winnair under which it will add its code to eight Caribbean destinations the latter serves from its St Maarten base.
KLM serves St Maarten thrice-weekly from Amsterdam and from the start of July has added its code to Winair services to Saba, St Eustatius, St Barts, Tortola, St Kitts, Nevis, Antigua and Dominica.
This agreement with Winair presents KLM with a unique opportunity to strengthen our position in the Caribbean. The new connections to the Windward Islands are a welcome extension of the KLM network in this important region," says Air France-KLM senior vice president Benelux, Harm Kreulen.
KLM sister carrier Air France implemented a codeshare with Winair in 2014.
