Flight International online news 10:00GMT: SkyTeam carrier KLM is investigating the possibility of offering a transatlantic all-business service.

Early indications suggest the service might be offered on KLM’s Amsterdam Schiphol-Houston route.

However, KLM says it can foresee complications relating to ground-handling, in-flight product offering, passenger demand and slot availability and says agreement would be needed from the airline’s unions and works council.

The feasibility study is expected to finish by the end of the year.

Aircraft for the venture could be provided by Swiss business jet operator PrivatAir, which already operates premium transatlantic services for Lufthansa.
