KLM and China Southern Airlines have entered a codeshare and block space agreement to expand their services between China and the Netherlands and will align their frequent flier programmes. KLMwill add a third Boeing 747-400 flight a week between Amsterdam and Shanghai to the winter schedule, and a four times a week service to Beijing from summer 2002. China Southern operates two Boeing 777 services a week between Amsterdam and Beijing.
