KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plans to outsource its IT network management to Dutch communications provider KPN. KLM estimates that the deal, which will see the consolidation of eight existing networks, will be worth more than €75 million over the next five years. KLM will migrate its legacy data network over to a system based on Internet Protocol (IP) standards.
